TYPE OF GLASS: Transparent, reflective glass (semi-mirror), cinnamon coloured.
SPECIAL FEATURES: Automatic 3,70 metres sliding doors. A cellar with double-glazed dark glass which filters light.
Monvínic Centro Difusor de la Cultura del Vino (Centre that disseminates wine culture) has a sensual feel to it and a clear, open shape. The architect used clear, transparent, reflective cinnamon coloured glass to grant independence to each of the spaces, creating an interior space, which becomes an interesting trip through wine culture.
CORNELIA & CO RESTAURANT
PROJECT: GCA ARQUITECTES ASSOCIATS · DATE: 2010 · PHOTOGRAPHY: VIDRES BERNI ARCHIVE
FROMAGERIE, A MADE TO MEASURE FRIDGE: Within the restaurant we can find the Fromagerie, a refrigerated space with glass doors and special hardware, allowing the preservation of a large selection of cheese.
TYPE OF GLASS: Laminated glass. Back-painted glass. Tempered-laminated black glass doors.
The interior design project has conceived an open space which allows an interrelation between the different rooms. It creates a visual connection between the inside and the outside of the shop across the glass facade, which at the same time brings an appealing and perfect visualization of the products.
